This Monday, an individual shot several people at the town hall of Chribska, town north of the Czech Republic, causing the death of one man and six injuriesincluding a police officer, before being killed, security agents reported on the social network X.
“We confirm two dead (one of whom is the aggressor) and six injured. At least one woman was seriously injured“, the Czech police reported, specifying that an officer was among the injured.
“Front-line patrols, intervention units, special anti-riot units, traffic police and criminal investigators have been involved in the security device,” the police statement added.
The regional rescue spokesman also told Czech media that, according to preliminary information, The injuries of the wounded are “serious.”
According to testimonies to the local press from people who were near the building, the attacker was a local drug addict, something that has not been confirmed by the authorities at the moment.
Still the reasons for the event are unknown in this town of 1,300 inhabitants located 120 kilometers north of Prague.
