The year 2025 is coming to an end and the agenda of Brazilian artists in Portugal is taking shape for the coming 2026. One of the most recent to announce his presence in the country was Djavan, who returns to Portugal on October 11, 2026 for a show at the MEO Arena, in Lisbon.
The presentation is part of the international tour “Djavanear 50 years. Only Successes”. It will be a celebration that marks half a century of one of the most influential trajectories of Brazilian music and features a repertoire entirely dedicated to the classics.
The show brings together at least 25 songs that cover the artist’s entire discography. On stage, the audience will be able to hear themes such as Ocean, A Pure Love, I Devour You, With…, Fleur de Lis, Açaí e Samurai. A artistic direction is signed by Gringo Cardia, with a technical team formed by Césio Lima, Mari Pitta and Sérgio Almeida. Djavan will be accompanied by a band of nine musicians.

Since the launch of The Voice, the Guitar, the Music of Djavan (1976), the singer from Alagoas became one of the central names in MPB, known for his fusion of influences from pop, jazz, African and Latin music, combined with a unique melodic writing. Throughout his career, he released more than 20 albums, won a Latin Grammy and collaborated with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia.
The 2026 tour revisits these five decades of successes that consolidated Djavan as one of the most notable voices in Brazilian music sung in Portuguese. Tickets went on exclusive pre-sale through FNAC last Friday, December 5th and will continue to be available this Saturday, December 6th, with general sale starting December 7th.
