THIS is the shocking moment a seething politician aggressively tries to turn off a reporter’s microphone – as she repeatedly pleads “please don’t touch me”.
The heated confrontation broke out as TVP journalist Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz grilled senator Wojciech Skurkiewicz over Poland’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
Dobrosz-Oracz accused the senator of ignoring facts and manipulating information with regards to the country’s absence from the negotiating table.
She said that President Karol Nawrocki could leverage his relationship with Donald Trump to increase Polish influence on the US stance on Russia.
“Don’t act like you have a peanut in your head, not a brain,” Skurkiewicz snapped back.
A ruckus then broke out in the Sejm – the country’s parliament building – as the populist party politician repeatedly reached over to turn off the microphone clipped to her chest.

Dobrosz-Oracz responded firmly, saying: “Please don’t violate my personal integrity.”
“You’re overreacting now ,” the senator replied.
“No, you’re overreacting ,” the journalist retorted, ending the interview.
The fracas sparked a flurry of social media posts condemning the politician.
MEP of the ruling Civic Coalition Krzysztof Brejza wrote: “There is no consent to such rudeness”.
He added that a report would be filed with the Parliamentary Ethics Committee over Skurkiewicz’s scandalous behaviour.
The controversial senator represents the country’s right-wing, populist party Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (PiS) – meaning Law and Justice – which lost power in 2023 and has faced allegations of corruption and law violations.
Senator Ryszard Brejza weighed in on the drama: “Dramatic and lacking in culture is an extremely mild description for this PiS senator.
Another MEP, Dariusz Joński, added: “PiS politicians are losing their nerves with each passing day, but this behavior is scandalous.”
MEP Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz scolded the party, writing: “When the facts don’t match the PiS reality, when Kaczyński’s [party leader] foreign policy theories crumble to dust, when their alliances turn out to be worthless, what then?
“They turn off the microphone.”
It comes after the bitter blow that saw Poland excluded from peace talks in London this week.
The NATO heavyweight was relegated to the diplomatic sidelines as leaders from the UK, France, Germany and Ukraine sat down for talks over Trump’s expedited peace deal.
It is the second such humiliation after the country was snubbed from a Geneva peace summit last month.
NATO fighter jets intercepted a slew of Russian military aircraft flying with their transponders off near the Polish airspace.
Poland said it scrambled pairs of F-16s and MiG-29s to intercept the Russian military aircraft “which posed a threat”.
The NATO member said that its fighter jets “conducted visual identification and escorted foreign aircraft outside their area of responsibility”.
The Russian aircraft did not violate the Polish airspace, authorities added.
