For those who are going to have a Christmas break and like cheesy music, the party is at Casa Capitão, Thursday, December 25th. The group Colar de Rapariga, which has just released a new album, livens up the night with music of this style, which is 100% Brazilian.
Doors will open at 11pm, with the presentation starting at 11:30pm. The formation of the band tonight will be special, with the presence of musician Vinícius Bigjohn, before returning to Brazil. He is the one who will lead the DJ set from 2:30 am until the end of the night, at 4:00 am.

The party promises to also have a taste of Brazil, where Christmas is celebrated with warmth. “Hot, tacky, sweaty and not at all elegant, just the way we like it (…) dramatic, bright and with a lot of human warmth. Tacky Christmas is a tradition from now on”, says the group. Tickets are on sale online, in advance, costing 7 euros. The link is available herei.
The group Colar de Rapriga emerged in 2023, when vocalist Heidy Samantha received the invitation to put together a brega band for the Musa de Marvila Carnival, at the Brega Agrega party. In the initial phase, still without drums, Heidy, guitarist Wehz and producer Vinicius Big John bet on serenade beats, defining the project’s hybrid identity. The band’s name – used in the non-pejorative sense of “girl”, common in Portugal – suggests the idea of emotional involvement, like a necklace that fits around the wearer’s neck.
