one person has died and another was seriously injured this Sunday after the mid-air collision of two helicopters in the vicinity of the municipal airport of Hammontonand ethe state of New Jersey, according to local media reports.
The accident occurred shortly after 11:00 local time. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), it was a mid-flight collision between an Enstrom F-28A helicopter and an Enstrom 280C.
The authorities specified that only the pilot traveled on each aircraft. One of them died at the scene of the accident, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital.

This is the second accident aerial of this type, between two manned aircraft, which happens in the US this year.
On January 29, an American Eagle Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet (flight 5342) collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington, killing 67 among the 64 occupants of the plane and the 3 in the helicopter.
